Bring In Big Traffic With These Awesome Marketing Methods

If you own a business website, you must increase your website traffic, and the more the better. With more traffic, you find more prospective customers and obviously increased profits. The 3 simple ideas listed below will help you pull in increased traffic flow to your website…

Create a checklist video A checklist video is one where you, as a professional in the industry, can help your viewers avoid common mistakes or take the right steps by supplying them with a checklist of important things to remember as they try to accomplish something. If you create checklist videos geared towards your prospective buyers, you will become an expert in their eyes as you help them navigate unknown waters, and then you are in a position to offer them other suggestions (such as products or services you offer). For more exposure you should submit these kinds of videos to sites like YouTube and you will find more viewers than if you simply posted this video on your site alone.

Write a top 10 list for your blog An effective way to get people to read your article is to use a “top 10 list” format. People like top 10 lists because they’re easy to read. If you can compile a list of resources your prospective clients are interested in then you can attract large numbers of interested readers. If you place this article on your blog, not only will your current site visitors learn something by it, but search engines will index that page and send more traffic your way.

The many faces of Malaysia

Located in Southeast Asia, Malaysia is one of the most popular countries to visit on the Asian continent. While there are plenty of reasons to visit Malaysia – food, sunshine and culture – one of the biggest attractions to Malaysia is the variety it offers to travellers.

From city breaks in Kuala Lumpur to tropical beaches in Langkawi, Malaysia promises both an exciting and varied trip for those who want to visit.

No holiday to Malasyia is complete without a stay in the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur means ‘muddy estuary’ in Malay and this reflects the state of the city when it began as a small mining village.

Today Kuala Lumpur is a cosmopolitan paradise, a bustling metropolis of more than 6.5 million people. Although relatively new – especially when compared to other Malaysian cities such as George Town and Malacca – Kuala Lumpur has become an extremely popular tourist destination within Asia.

One of the reasons for its popularity is the relative cheapness of a luxury stay here. Malaysia is home to some of the world’s most reasonably priced five star hotels as well as containing an even greater number of affordable luxury restaurants and well-priced shopping malls.

An ethnically-diverse city, Kuala Lumpur is particularly friendly to tourists, making it an ideal location for first-time visitors to the Asian continent. Malaysia’s openness to tourism and familiarity with western standards is partly owed to the fact that Malaysia was once a British colony. Remnants of this history are still visible throughout the city, particularly in some of the older architecture which still bears a strong colonial feel.

The Intelligent Sea Turtles of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

By: Jim Scherrer

Sea turtles are very intelligent creatures of nature; they continue coming to Puerto Vallarta regardless of the swine flu scare, the border town drug wars, or the global recession! They don’t visit Vallarta for its perfect climate, its eight beautiful golf courses, its world class deep sea fishing, its hundreds of fine restaurants, nightclubs and discotheques, its magnificent sunsets, or the colorful tropical flora and fauna in the surrounding Sierra Madre hillsides; they visit Vallarta strictly for its 35 miles of sandy beaches. However, the fact that they love the beaches around PV is only a small clue as to what makes the sea turtles so incredibly intelligent.

Sea turtles constitute a single radiation that was distinct from all other turtles during the Late Cretaceous Period, the “age of dinosaurs”, at least 100 million years ago. It’s hard to imagine that approximately 65 million years ago during the Cretaceous–Tertiary Extinction Event (KT Mass Extinction), the planet endured catastrophic events such as massive asteroid impacts and/or tremendous volcanic activity resulting in significant climate changes affecting all of the Earth’s plant and animal life. Sea turtles were among the few species to survive these traumatic events and related climate changes.

Today, there are only seven living species of sea turtles worldwide and members of five or six of these species manage to visit Vallarta annually. Six of the seven species have hard shells and only one has a soft shell; it’s the leatherback turtle, the largest of them all and a periodic visitor to Vallarta. The leatherbacks grow for 30 years, from hatchlings weighing about an ounce, to maturity weighing up to 1,300 pounds and measuring up to 7 feet long and 5 feet wide; they can live to be more than 80 years old.

Although sea turtles representing most of the species visit Vallarta, the majority of them are of the Olive Ridley species. They are much smaller than the leatherbacks, measuring less than 3 feet long and weighing just a little over 100 pounds with dark olive green heart shaped domed shells.

Why Krill Oil

What’s KRILL OIL ?

Krill is shrimp-like crustaceans that are roughly one to six centimetres long. They inhabit in the sea, where they feed primarily on phytoplankton. They’re close to the lowest level of the food chain and are devoured by whales, seals, penguins, squid and fish.

Krill oil, the oil that’s discovered naturally in krill, is taken out and sold as a wellness supplement. It’s marketed in many and wellness food shops and online in capsulate form.

Krill oil contains omega-3 fatty acids, which is the main reason it’s becoming popular as a nutritional supplement.

Another rationale why krill oil is getting recognised is because it carries an antioxidant known as astaxanthin. The algae that krill eat produces the brilliant red pigment astaxanthin that causes krill and many other crustaceans e.g. lobster and shrimp their reddish-pink color.
Unlike many other antioxidants, astaxanthin goes over the blood-brain barrier, where it could in theory protect the eye, brain and central nervous system from free radical harm.

Krill oil contains vitamin E, vitamin A, vitamin D and canthaxanthin, which is, like astaxanthin, a powerful anti-oxidant. The anti-oxidant effectiveness of krill oil is such that when likened to fish oil in terms of ORAC (Oxygen radical absorptance capacity) values it was determined to be fourty eight times more potent than fish oil.
The astaxanthin found in krill oil supplies excellent protection against ultravoilet light and UV-induced skin harm.

A number of studies have shown that krill oil is tremendously effective in reducing LDL-cholesterol, maximising HDL-cholesterol, and bringing down blood sugar. It has been shown to be efficient in treating the pain and inflammation from rheumatoid arthritis and aches and pains as a whole. One large study showed that krill oil has tremendous benefits in terms of symptom reduction in PMS and dysmenorrhea. And it has been shown to be effective in the treatment of adult ADHD. In all these studies krill oil was tested against fish oil and not just a placebo.

An Overview of the New Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Process

Beginning in January 2008, ABOG introduced the new Maintenance of Certification also known as MOC. Anyone who became board certified from 1986 onwards is obligated to complete this process if they wish to maintain their license.

This process contains 4 parts:

1)      Proof of good professional standing. This comprises an ABOG generated computer search of all state licenses held by the candidate,  looking for limitations or revocation

2)      The Lifetime Education or Annual Board Recertification (ABC) which requires OB/GYNs to read a list of prescribed articles and answer an ‘open book’ multiple choice question test. A pass grade of 70% is required from a minimum of 120 (out of a maximum of 180) questions. This is taken once every year.

3)      A ‘closed book’ multiple choice question test which includes the salient parts of the articles from Part 2 (above). This test is taken in the 5th or 6th year of a 6 year cycle. This test is a big unknown since it has never before been administered and is the cause of a lot of consternation amongst OBGYNs.
