A chemist may also have a Masters in teaching these days. Teaching can be a very lucrative career path. Some people are starting school intending to be chemistry teachers. Other people are continuing their education or even going back to school for this degree.

They need to make time for both their chemistry labs and their teaching hours for their Masters in teaching.
